I'm Back...
Watching all the fun that Jarhead is having know I felt like I better get back on the bandwagon to share my brilliant ideas with my fellow blogger's... Just finished listening to Howard Stern and really appreciated the interview with the host Tom Bergergon and he's a riot... it's unbelievable to hear people when they are uncut and free to say what they want!

Whats wrong with Hustle?
After watching an awesome third and fourth grade basketball game, I sit and wonder why parents get so intense on their children's hustle??? I am the (trying to get better) the worst person on seeing the wrong in officials and what they are not seeing, but to hear the parents on the other team applaud when a kid finally gets called for a foul, well that's amazing! Grant it the one that caused the foul was mine, but to hear the other parents find pleasure in the ref finally calling him for a foul takes my breath away if only for a moment and then i breath again. If the other parents could see the hours mine puts into practice on his own and not being told to. Maybe they would see the difference between Hustle, and hoping a ref makes a call on their kids lack of hustle. So for me, I'm still working on being the quite one, on fouls called against our team, but I still will not cheer when a kid gets called for a foul on the opposing team for their hustle! So in closing, keep the Hustle up!!!!

New Year, Same Stuff?
As 2008 goes to the back burners of our brain and 2009 rolls to the front. What has changed? We had our usual throw down at the love shack, friends arrived and got home safely, football games came and went, decorations were removed from the house, kids are not excited that school starts in a few days. Then I realize that we are all living in the Groundhog Day movie. I feel like we're all characters from the film and we wake up and do the same stuff again, and again. Seeing that Jar has posted his last post, with a strikingly young photo and I sit on the sofa waiting for more football. What has changed? I cannot wait to wake up tomorrow and see if this a movie, or am I going to be sitting in the same spot watching football? Oh well Happy New Year! Go (fill in the Blank of your favorite team) and enjoy the fellowship of your own personal Groundhog Day...

Christmas is Over
As the afternoon sets in on December 26, 2008 another Christmas has come and gone! Our year has been great, with new friends and the fellowship of our old friends, things are looking great for the 2009 entry. The little web slingers received all they asked for and good times were had by all at the house! I had an unexpected visit by my Uncle, whom I have not seen since May 0f 1998... Kind of felt like Clark Griswold when Uncle Eddie pulled up in his RV. It was a pleasant surprise , and it was a pleasure to meet his new wife of two years... it just seems like yesterday my aunt died, but it's been almost Six Years now. We had a great visit, feed them some lunch, and sent them back to their RV and back on the road. Heck you figure another ten years, my kids might be out of the house!!!! So party on Garth! I hope everyone had a blessed year as the Crime fighters have and look forward to the New Year...

What a Weekend...
My weekend started off great, we had an incredible time in the lovely City of Grandbury from the hospitality of the Jar's from night to noon!!!!! What an evening, we shared hours of laughter and watched numerous brain cells dissolve. Never knew that I'm in love with a "Crazy Family" but I guess I should have known since they put up with the crime fighters for the past four plus years. By the Grace of God, we had another great fellowship of the mindless at our friends house in the neighborhood of Reatta "Nuts Landing" Estates. Two nights in a row, good times were had, but it was nice to sleep in the web for the evening. Then to top my weekend as one of the greatest, I had the privilege to watch the Cowboys loose with humble Cowboy fans and then watch my Redskins put them right back in the playoff picture! But that's okay I'll take a win any weekend...
So Cowboy fans please remember to send LaRon Landry a Christmas Wish this holiday season, because he gave you a great present!!!! Go Skins!

Friday is coming!!!!
With the morning fog hanging over my house like I'm about to be staring in a horror film, I awake to the sight of two missed text messages from an old friend!!! It is crazy how the enjoyment of life can change in the blink of an eye. How things that seemed impossible turn possible... the fog may just be a good blanket of security instead of a bad blanket of mishap. I cannot wait to rekindle the friendship with the Mason family on Friday Night and bring up found memories of the days from the past, after all it's is Christmas time and that is a time of reflection. So to the ones who understand this rambling God Bless, and the ones that do not, God Bless! I cannot wait to see ya guys, and hello Bayer!!!!
